Drake was founded on the simple idea of being a full-service land brokerage that delivers best-in-class service and results without compromise.
Drake Land Services was founded in 2013 by Michael Peiler and Hunter Buchert, who had worked together on previous projects and built a mutual respect for each other’s work ethic, ability, and drive. Together, they bring over 40 years of experience in the land profession. More than thirteen years later, Drake serves clients with operations across Texas, New Mexico, Colorado, Nebraska, North Dakota, Montana, Utah, and Wyoming, and has completed projects in numerous other states.
The company’s namesake is the Drake Well in Titusville, Pennsylvania. Spud in 1859, it was the first well drilled with the intention of commercially producing oil.
